Whilst it is good to see the Huarache LE getting some love from the guys over at Nike of late….I would like to see them up the quality and shape to match up their previous efforts. I would also like to see them drop some of the (in my mind) more classic and often hard to find colourways….this particular example was a womens release, and is a lovely shoe, that rarelyi gets to see the light of day, and only when I know they aren’t going to be stressed too much and risk them getting wrecked.

Having only been produced in small numbers (480 pairs worldwide), I didn’t think I’d ever manage to find a pair of these. The Kegler Super has long been one of my favourite terrace silhouettes, and Hanon certainly managed to work their magic with this collaboration, including a couple of really nice touches, such as the tartan insole and the blue lace eyelet. Top Stuff. Well pleased I am.

One for all the narrow minded biggots out there. You gotta understand the mathematics before adding one plus one and getting the wrong answer.
I recently picked up my first pair of US Custom 574‘s and I was instantly impressed by the workmanship, quality of materials and shape (I was even accused of ‘toe pushing’ on my first TIA with them on…). It was inevitable that another addition to the crate was soon to follow, and this is example one of probably many more. I used the colours from the Gucci stable for the influence of this colourway. I’ve never owned, or felt any real affinity for the high end label, but have always admired their use of colours, so it was an easy decision to use their palette for these.

I was never a massive fan of the footscape, especially the non woven original. I was just put off by the side lacing and the overly technical sole unit. This was the case until I saw someone wearing a pair of these Bodega designed footscape wovens….I fell in love with the simple yet effective colourway and the plush materials…..it took a while for me to hunt a pair down, but now I have, I have to say, I’m a convert to the way of the footscape woven model: fit, aesthetics and comfort are all on point. I reckon there might be a few more variations on the silhouette making their way into my crate in the not too distant future.
