So, it’s that time of year again….time to pack up the stock and get ready for Manchesters very own 6Acre event….anyone who was there for the last one will know, these guys really know how to put on a great event. This, second gathering promises to be even bigger and better….with a bigger venue (the ‘Bassment’ of Unity radio on Primrose Street), more vendors and full refreshments on offer…..there’s even an after party at Cord for those hardcore enough to go the distance…..head on down and say hi (don’t forget your spends).
So, the boys over at Soleheaven have outgrown their original space, and so have made the move to pastures new…..check out the video of the opening night….certainly looks like a mad one….some sore heads (and a lot more from the BMX dude that face slams) no doubt. Head over to their online STORE and pick up some heat.
One of the questions I raised to Gary Aspden at the recent Adidas Spezial show event was: Over the years we’ve seen many collaborations with stores, do you think the same validity could be brought to a collaborative project from collectors? He responded by stating there was something in the pipeline that he couldn’t speak too much about at the time……this ‘Collectors Project’ is obviously what he was eluding to.

Every now and then a shoe shows up unannounced that raises almost universal praises…the Nike Air Trainerendor is such a shoe….it’s a classic shape that reminds me of a mix between a Roshe, Air Sock, and Current….shape is on point and is perfect for up coming colder seasons. It sold out everywhere pretty much straight away, but based on the uptake for this initial colourway, expect more in the very near future.
Once again, the guys over at Sneaker Freaker have set the hype train well and truly in motion with this, their latest collaborative effort. This time they’ve teamed up with Adidas Consortium, to bring us two twists on the highly anticipated retro of the Adidas Torsion Integral S…..CHOO CHOO.
