At last, a Nice Kicks video featuring someone of a similar age to myself and has similar views as myself on shoes. I couldn’t agree more on Patricks views on price/quality and sheer number of releases nowadays. I don’t want to come across as a grumpy old man, but it just isn’t the same as it was in my day. I miss quality shoes at reasonable prices and the feeling of hitting a mom and pop store and finding a gem.
The projection mapping “bioluminescent forest” is made by artists Friedrich van Schoor and Tarek Mawad.
The artists spent six weeks in the forest fascinated by the silence and natural occurrences in nature, especially the phenomenon “bioluminescence”. They personified the forest to accentuate the natural beauty by creating luring luminescent plants and glowing magical mushrooms that speaks volumes to any visitor that enters the minds of the artists through viewing “bioluminescent forest”.
Another shoe I foolishly slept on. I personally prefer the contrasting make up of this one from the pack. I really like the contrast of the poppy red against the black/grey, and the subtle but effective use of the speckle on the mudguard sections instead of the sole is a really nice touch.
