All posts for the month November, 2011
So, here I am back in the cold, wet and foggy UK. My first weekend back was spent with a couple of mates in London, one of whom was kind enough to treat me to a coming home present: The sublime Vac Tec Air Max 90 (Haystack).
Cheers Matt 😉
Needed a case/sleeve for my new Macbook. After searching around the usual sites, Mickey suggested I try Etsy. I was dubious at first, as I thought all that would be on there would be kitschy flowery crap, but after a short time browsing I came across a seller called ‘Canter’ in Japan. All the cases are hand made from premium canvas, triple stitched and with quality touches such as metal fasteners. The service was fantastically quick and I’m more than impressed with the product. If you’re after a new bag or case, I’d suggest heading over to their store and checking their range out. You won’t be disappointed.
Dirt magnets today, but they look so good in the sun. Probably won’t get aired out as much when I’m back in merry old England.
I love it when you find a new band that you really like. I’m currently sat here listening to tune after tune by CunninLynguists, and almost every one is a banger.
I was supposed to get these as hook up for doing someone a favour, but due to limited numbers being released in Australia it couldn’t happen. Big thanks to our homies over at Up There store for coming through with this pair for me to take back to the UK with me.
More regal suede after the jump
Just heard this tune and fell in love. Amazing, simple, real hip hop beats. This is the instrumental. The original can be heard after the jump.
I love stuff like this: simple idea, well executed and ever so clever.
A documentary short looking at ‘See No Evil and the rise of the global street art movement. Europe’s largest street art installation transformed Nelson Street in Central Bristol into a massive outdoor art gallery. Featuring many of the worlds most talented ‘street’ artists, including my good mate Inkie, it has to be seen to be believed.
